My story, my stories
In 1985 in Slovenia, a peculiar strip of land that served as a bridge between Slavic and Italian culture, I was born.
I wonder if my parents had predicted that I would be a particular creature since they decided to give me the name Natasja. A name that does not exist in nature, and that nobody can pronounce or write well on the first attempt.
Never. Not even on official documents.
The fact is that I grew up between two worlds, two cultures and two languages, and this experience has undoubtedly forged me into the adult I am today.
A bit shy and introverted, but with a lot of love for details and beauty that, on closer inspection, abounds in the world.
I spent a lot of time trying to understand what my true vocation was, my task in the world.
I have come to the conclusion that I do my best when I can help others see what I have already seen. Maybe, by pointing out simpler and more suitable paths.
Miniatures and children's books are, in a sense, maps that can lead us to fantastic worlds where you can safely experiment with life and emotions.
My work is dedicated to you who are committed to raising tomorrow's adults. Because the future of all of us is in your hands.
